American DJ duo The Chainsmokers, have become one of the most successful and well-known EDM acts in the world. earning them a place on the list of the world’s highest-paid DJs. Formed in 2012, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart are best known for their chart-topping singles “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” and “Something Just Like This.”

The Chainsmokers have enjoyed an incredible rise to fame over the last few years, with their success reflected in their earnings. In 2018, they earned an estimated $45.5 million, making them the fourth highest-paid DJs in the world. They’ve collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, like Halsey, Coldplay, and 5 Seconds of Summer. Tiësto is one of the biggest names in EDM for the last two decades. He began his career in the mid 1990s as a trance and techno producer, becoming a leading figure of the scene in the Netherlands. His 2003 album, Just Be, was his breakthrough record and has since become one of the best-selling dance albums of all time.

Tiësto’s incredible talent has won him countless awards, including two Grammys. His career has given him an impressive net worth of about $150 million. In 2019, Forbes ranked him as the second-highest-paid DJ, behind only Tiesto, earning an estimated $48 million between 2018 and 2019. Harris is considered one of the most influential producers in electronic dance music, and has won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video in 2013 for his hit ‘This is What We Came For’. He has headlined at some of the most prestigious events in the world, including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival and Lollapalooza.

 

SKIRLLEX

Born in 1988, Sonny Moore, known as Skrillex, has been spinning since the age of 14 and hasn’t stopped. Since his debut EP, My Name Is Skrillex, was released in 2010, he has earned over $30 million in total earnings.

Skrillex has continued to evolve musically throughout his career, going from experimental electronic music to a mixture of dubstep, hip-hop and trap music. He has produced many hits such as “Bangarang”, “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”, “First of the Year (Equinox)”, and “Where Are U Now”. His collaboration with Diplo and Justin Bieber on “Where Are U Now” earned him a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2016.

Not only is Skrillex a talented DJ and producer, he has also done philanthropic work. He started The Skrillex Foundation to help fund music-related projects for youth. He also founded OWSLA, a record label dedicated to promoting new artists and genres.

 

DAVID GUETTA

David Guetta is one of the most successful DJs in the world, having achieved massive success in both the club and radio music scenes. Guetta is widely recognized for his energetic live sets as well as his production work, which incorporates elements of house, electro, hip hop, progressive house and trance. Guetta has been awarded two Grammy Awards, with three of his songs appearing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He was recently named one of the “30 Most Influential Names in Dance Music” by Rolling Stone magazine and holds the distinction of being the only DJ to have a Billboard chart topping single.

MARTIN GARRIX

Martin Garrix is a Dutch DJ, musician, and record producer from Amstelveen, Netherlands. The 23-year-old multi-talented artist has taken the music world by storm since his breakthrough hit “Animals” was released in 2013. Since then, he has become one of the biggest names in the EDM scene. He has been ranked the No. 1 DJ in the world for the past two years in a row by DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll.

Garrix’s career started at the young age of 16 when he released his debut track “BFAM” under his own label, STMPD RCRDS. He signed with Spinnin’ Records, one of the largest and most successful dance music labels in the world. Garrix has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music including Ed Sheeran, Bebe Rexha, Afrojack, and even Usher. In 2018, he collaborated with American pop singer Dua Lipa on their hit single “Scared to be Lonely” which reached No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart. His latest release, “High On Life” featuring Bonn, also made it to the top of the charts worldwide.

Throughout his career, Garrix has toured extensively and performed at music festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC Las Vegas.
