Rules of the Guest List

How Do Las Vegas Night Club Guest Lists Work?

Congratulations! You know someone who can get you and your friends on the guest list. However, you may be a part of a group of people that need to be reminded of the rules of a guest list. Good for you that we made it easier than ever to skip the club promotors and place yourself on one of the top nightclubs in Vegas. We do a lot of business with these clubs so we can give you an amazing VIP experience for a better price. So, we have compiled a list of rules to follow to ensure your nights are fun…. and you’re invited back next week.
But First, What Is A Guest List?
A Las Vegas guest list gets you free or reduced entry into a club. In most cases, this means you won’t have to buy a ticket. And, on some nights, there’s even an open bar for the ladies.
Some general facts about nightclubs:
• Almost every weekend, every major Vegas night club offers a guest list of some kind on most nights that they’re open.
• Guest lists for nightclubs are open from 10:30 pm to around midnight or 1 am. But ultimately it depends on the club and how busy it is that night. If the club fills up fast, then they’ll most likely close the guest list early.
• Almost everyone can get on a guest list as long as they’re 21 and over and in dress code. The perks of being on a guest list varies depending on if you’re a girl or a boy.
• It’s important to keep in mind that all clubs are under no obligation to let anyone in for free even if you’re on the list. Some clubs require guests to pay and others not.

What Are the Rules of a Las Vegas Night Club Guest List?
• Generally, each night club has its own designated guest list check in area and cut off times. But normally a guest list closes around 11:00 pm, but that doesn’t mean you can show up at 10:55 pm and expect to get in. Most clubs have a pretty large guest list to give away for their employees and promoters, so that their friends can come out and enjoy the night. Ideally you want to show up around 10:15 pm or 45 minutes before the list closes. Nightclub goers on the guest list often have a separate queue and sometimes a separate entrance from those used by full price-paying attendees. It is common for the guestlist line-up to be no shorter or even longer than the full-paying or ticketed queues. More often than not guest list lines can be 150 feet long by 10:30 pm. When you arrive, you simply let them know you are on the guest list under your name. That’s it. Make sure you have your valid ID too!
• When it comes to the dress code, the best thing to do is to inquire with the venue to see what the dress code is. But generally, the rule of thumb is to dress to impress. Some nightclub bouncers do not admit people with informal clothing or gang apparel as part of a dress code. Leave the ball cap at home, wear closed toes shows, and dress as if you were going to meet your future spouse! Otherwise, bouncers may turn you around at the door.
• Every night club has the option to use rules and restrictions for their guest lists differently. But the same basic benefits always apply. Some nightclubs have a range of guest list options ranging from free, to reduced, to full price with line by-pass privileges only.
• Don’t Pre-Game Too Hard – If you drank a lot of alcohol before coming to the club, you’re not getting in. It’s as simple as that.

So, what’s the benefits of being on a Las Vegas night club’s guest list? Let’s break it down:
• Guest list is usually free or discounted
• Usually free for girls
• Can sometimes come with extra perks like open champagne bar, open vodka bar, etc. But usually for girls only
• Men can get reduced or free cover charge depending on the venue
• Men and women skip the general admission line
• Show up at the venue before the designated cut off time (generally before 11pm) and check in at the area for guest lists.
